Computer training
Till a few years back most of the people including myself used to be a complete computer illiterate. But soon enough, “IT thing” began to take grasp in almost all of the work-places. Thereafter it became a sort of a mandatory thing in most offices to get their employees some sort of computer training done. Initially, I harbored negative thoughts about the whole affair thinking that the computer will take all of our jobs. It was based on many media stories floating around at that point in time. They advertised how a computer can do a job of tens of thousands of men & women & within a fraction of a time. So, it was natural for most of the people to get panicky. However, after the initial resistance, it dawned upon everyone that how wonderful these things really are. In fact, people who used to shout slogans against the use of computers are enrolling by the bunch in IT certifications courses. Things have come back to round one, the only difference being the vast improve in technology. Hopefully, the demand of these things will continue to grow so that the people who are still joining in these courses will be able to find suitable job opportunities.
